Providing our community with

support during Adversities

Welcome to South African Charity Trust NZ

The South African Charity Trust NZ was officially established in March 2021 to provide pastoral care and compassionate support to the South African community living in Aotearoa, New Zealand. We walk alongside families during one of life’s most difficult journeys — the loss of a loved one — especially when that loss is experienced far away from home.

At the South African Charity Trust NZ, our passion for service and our commitment to community shape the legacy we strive to leave behind. By giving back and championing meaningful causes, we aim to inspire hope, connection, and generosity for generations to come.

Our Vision

To empower the South African community in Aotearoa to rise above adversity through compassion, support, and unity.

Finding it tough? We’re here to help

• The death of someone close to us results in an inevitable journey we must all experience called grief. It will be very different for each of us. Regrettably there is no way to avoid our grief, nor can we go around it, but rather need to travel through it.

It is in these typical circumstances our Trust is here to support the families through the transition.
